Various goods seized

Authorized officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA), Regional Center(RC) Tuzla, in two separate actions seized various goods worth 116,500 BAM.

Authorized officers of the Group for the Prevention of Smuggling and Misdemeanors, RC Tuzla, performed a detailed inspection of the importer’s shipment to the area of ​​RC Tuzla. The detailed inspection of the goods revealed irregularities related to the non-declaration of goods, and on that occasion a certain amount of undeclared and hidden goods was found. It was about 2552 pieces of various T-shirts and  scooter chargers.

In the second separate action, in cooperation with the employees of the Audit and Control Group, the Tax Department of RC Tuzla, and based on available information on irregularities in the business of the legal entity, they simultaneously checked and controlled the turnover and origin of goods,which did not have the legally prescribed documentation. On that occasion, 2059 pieces of various jackets, vests and leggings were temporarily confiscated.

The total value of temporarily seized goods in the operational activities of the Group for the Prevention of Smuggling and Misdemeanors, the Department for the Implementation of Regulations of the RC Tuzla is 116,500.00 BAM.
