Seized various goods

Authorized officials of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA), Regional Center Mostar,in cooperation with police officers of the BiH Border Police during the controlof a freight motor vehicle, confiscated various goods worth around 66,000 BAM.

Officers of the Group for the Prevention of Smuggling and Misdemeanors of the RC Mostar, acting on information of an international character, and in cooperation with Border Police officers BiH Police, Field Office South-Bijača, conducted a detailed inspection of the container shipment, which was sent from the Port of Ploče for the importer in BiH, to BC Bijača. On the occasion detailed inspection of the shipment found goods that were not reported at the entrance BiH customs authorities. On that occasion, spare parts for vehicles and motorcycles were found and confiscated as well as clothing items with an estimated market value of 66,000 BAM. Since these were goods with which a customs offense was committed, it is temporary taken away. During the detailed inspection, the officers used the specialist equipment in charge of the U.S.Government, through the EXBS program.
