Authorized officers of the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) at the Izačić Border Crossing and at the border crossings covered by the Tuzla Regional Center during the control of trucks and motor vehicles seized various goods worth about 76,000 BAM.
Authorized ITA officers at BC Izačić discovered a large quantity of undeclared goods during a physical inspection of goods imported by a legal entity. During the search, a larger quantity of goods was found, and it was household goods, used and new clothes, bicycle and ski helmets, used machines. The value of the seized goods is estimated at around 8,000 BAM.
Officers of the Group for the Prevention of Smuggling and Misdemeanors of the RC Tuzla, during intensified controls of goods and passenger traffic at border crossings and inland, discovered 20 irregularities (9 irregularities in cross-border traffic and 11 irregularities in internal traffic). At the border crossings belonging to RC Tuzla on the basis of operational work and enhanced operational tactical measures with the use of specialist equipment during a detailed inspection of passenger motor vehicles found undeclared goods with 9 individuals (various technical equipment, computers, tool). The total value of the seized goods at the border is 40,000 BAM.
In addition to the above, 11 irregularities in domestic traffic were discovered, with the temporary seizure of goods in the amount of 28,000 BAM.
