Notice on the start of NCTS phase 5 implementation in the Republic of Serbia. The implementation of the new version of the transit system – NCTS phase 5, harmonised with EU customs legislation, as well as with the Convention on Common Transit Procedure, will begin on January 28, 2024.
Given that this is a complex procedure, due to the temporary unavailability of the transit system, the implementation and (period) of stabilisation of the new application, difficult workflow and reduced cross-border flow at the border customs offices with the Republic of Serbia are expected in the period from 9 p.m. on January 27, till 4 p.m. on January 28, 2024.
Considering the stated, please inform all participants in the customs procedure so that they can adapt their business to the new circumstances.
