Income from indirect taxes significatly higher in january
Revenues from indirect taxes in January 2022 amounted to 709 million BAM and are higher by 153 million BAM or 27.64% compared to January 2021 when it amounted to 556 million BAM.
In January 2022, the Indirect Taxation Authority ( ITA ) returned 173 million BAM to the economy, which is 59 million BAM more than in January last year.
Net collected revenues that were distributed to users in January 2022, namely the state, entities and the Brčko District, amounted to 536 million BAM and are higher by 94 million BAM compared to the revenues received from the Single Account by users in January 2021.
DISTRIBUTION OF REVENUE IN JANUARY 2022
In January 2022, the amount of 60 million BAM was allocated for the financing of state institutions.
The table below shows the total funds allocated to the entities and the Brčko District of BiH with the corresponding external debt in January 2022 compared to January last year. All amounts are expressed in millions of BAM.

In addition to the distributed revenues in the table above, and based on the special toll for the construction of highways and the reconstruction of other roads (0.25 BAM), the Federation of BiH received an additional 18.6 million BAM, Republic of Srpska 12.3 million BAM and Brčko District 0.6 million BAM. The difference is a reserve on a special account for tolls in the amount of 0.25 BAM.
