Income from indirect taxes increased by 848 million BAM

Revenues from indirect taxes for the six months of 2022 amounted to 4 billion and 703 million BAM and are higher by 848 million BAM or 22.01% compared to the same period in 2021 when they amounted to 3 billion and 855 million BAM.

The ITA returned 996 million BAM to the economy in six months of 2022, which is 280 million BAM  more than in the same period last year.

The net collected revenues that were distributed to users for the six months of 2022, namely the state, the entities and the Brčko District, amounted to 3 billion and 707 million BAM and are higher by 567 million BAM compared to the revenues from the Single Account users received for the same period in 2021.

REVENUE COLLECTED IN JUNE 2022.

In June 2022, 869 million BAM indirect taxes were collected, which is 109 million BAM more than in June 2021.

DISTRIBUTION OF INCOME IN JANUARY – JUNE 2022

An amount of 383 million BAM has been allocated for the financing of state institutions for the six months of 2022.

In the table below, we present the total allocated funds to the entities and the District of Brčko BiH with the associated external debt for six months of 2022 compared to the same period last year. All amounts are expressed in millions of BAM.

In addition to the distributed income in the table above, based on the special toll for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 BAM), the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an additional 100.8 million BAM, the Republic of Srpska 66.6 million BAM and the Brčko District 3.4 million BAM. The difference represents a reserve in a separate account for tolls in the amount of 0.25 BAM.
