Income from indirect taxes increased by 1 billion and 412 million BAM
Revenues from indirect taxes in eleven months of 2022 amounted to BAM 9 billion and 76 million and are higher by BAM 1 billion and 412 million or 18.43% compared to the same period in 2021 when they amounted to BAM 7 billion and 664 million.
In November 2022 alone, BAM 862 million indirect taxes were collected, which is BAM 99 million more than in November 2021.
After the ITA returned VAT to the economy in the amount of BAM 1 billion and 889 million, the net collected revenues that were distributed to beneficiaries in the period January-November 2022, namely the state, the entities and the District of Brčko, amounted to BAM 7 billion and 187 million and are higher by BAM 884 million compared to the income that users received from the Single Account for the same period in 2021.
DISTRIBUTION OF INCOME IN THE PERIOD JANUARY-NOVEMBER 2022
An amount of BAM 792 million has been allocated for the financing of state institutions in the period January-November 2022. The surplus collected from indirect taxes ended up in the accounts of the entities and the Brčko District. Thus, the Federation of BiH received BAM 3 billion and 943 million, the Republic of Srpska BAM 2 billion and 182 million, and the Brčko District BAM 220 million.
In the table below, we present the total allocated funds to the entities and the Brčko District with the corresponding external debt in the period January-November 2022 compared to the same period last year. All amounts are expressed in millions of BAM.

In addition to the distributed income in the table above, based on the special toll for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (BAM 0.25), the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an additional BAM 193 million, the Republic of Srpska BAM 127 million and the District of Brčko BAM 6 million. The difference represents a reserve in a special account for tolls.
