Income from indirect taxes in january increased by BAM 92 million
Revenues from indirect taxes in January 2023 amounted to BAM 801 million and are higher by BAM 92 million or 13.05% compared to January 2022, when they amounted to BAM 709 million.
The ITA returned BAM 194 million to the economy in January 2023, and it is is BAM 22 million more than in January last year.
The net collected revenues that were distributed to users in January 2023, namely the state, entities and Brčko District, amounted to BAM 607 million and are BAM 71 million higher than the revenues that users received from the Single Account in January 2022.
DISTRIBUTION OF INCOME IN JANUARY 2023
For the financing of state institutions in January 2023, an amount of BAM 70 million was allocated, BAM 314 million to Federation of B&H, BAM 169 million to Republic of Srpska and BAM 17 million to District of Brčko.
In the table below, we present the total allocated funds to the entities and the District of Brčko B&H with the associated external debt in January 2023 compared to January last year. All amounts are expressed in millions of BAM.

In addition to the distributed revenues in the table above, based on the special toll for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 BAM), the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an additional BAM 18 million, the Republic of Srpska BAM 11.9 million and the Brčko District BAM 0.6 million. The difference represents a reserve in a separate account for tolls in the amount of BAM 0.25.
