Labelling and trading in excise products
A producer or importer shall indicate, on the product declaration (label) and on other documents accompanying excise products, the ingredients, type, quality and other characteristics of the excise products essential for the determination of tax liability.
The following excise products shall be labelled with excise stamps:
- Tobacco products
- coffee
- alcoholic beverages, natural fruit brandy and wines containing more than 5% of alcohol.
Excise duty stamps shall be issued by the ITA.
