Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) authorised officers at the temporarily confiscated a large amount of undeclared branded textiles in the amount of BAM 206 500, at the Gradiška Customs Office.
Officers of the Group for Prevention of Smuggling and Misdemeanors from the regional center of Banjaluka, in cooperation with customs officers at the Gradiška Customs Office, discovered and prevented an attempt to import a large amount of textile goods into Bosnia and Herzegovina during the inspection of the import shipment. These were textile products of renowned brands (NIKE, BOSS, PRADA, HM, Tommy Hilfiger, etc.). The estimated market value of the temporarily seized goods is BAM 206,500, and the goods were retained due to the suspicion that there had been a violation of intellectual property rights.
During the implementation of measures within its jurisdiction, specialised equipment was used, as well as vehicles donated to the ITA by the American Embassy in BiH through the EXBS program.
