The Indirect Taxation Authority and the Union of Employers of Republic of Srpska signed the Memorandum JOINT EFFORT TO BETTER BUSINESS CONDITIONS AND REDUCTION OF CORRUPTION.
A memorandum of cooperation between the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA) and the Union of Employers of Republic of Srpska was signed today in Banja Luka. On the World Anti-Corruption Day, the Memorandum was signed by the ITA Director PhD Miro Džakula and Predrag Zorić, President of the Union of Employers Assembly of the Republic of Srpska.
Objective of concluding this Memorandum is the establishment of mutual cooperation and the improvement of relations between the signatory parties in order to more effectively achieve common goals and interests in connection with the system of indirect taxation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and in particular, cooperation on the implementation of a project for risk reduction and prevention of corruption during inspection supervision with the ultimate purpose of improving business conditions. In order to realise the main goal of this memorandum, the signatory parties will jointly consider the possibilities for improving the legal and sub-legal regulations and procedures for the implementation of which the ITA is responsible. Appreciating the common interest of the signatory parties in preventing possible abuses, prevention of corruption and other negative trends related to inspection supervision, the signatory parties will initiate changes to the regulations in the field of indirect taxes that will enable the elimination of all observed negative phenomena and trends.
